Yeah, so sorry about the lack of posts. My internet connection where I am has been very weak as of late.
Anyways, Mayday went fairly well. I received good comments about my new short program, although I think I may make some changes to the choreography to better fit all the elements in. This may also include mixing in some of the "Sleepy Hollow" soundtrack with the Sweeney Todd music. I'm gearing up to do Chesapeake Open in Baltimore in a couple weeks to perform my short again and perform my long once before Liberty. I really want to do well at Liberty so I get a good international assignment. I would love to go to Oberstdorf again, but my real goal this year is shooting to show at Liberty that I deserve the third spot at Skate America.
In terms of my music, not much has been going on with that. Everytime one of us is able to practice, someone else is busy. We're all getting together to figure out our schedules and find time to practice. I know Kyle, Evan, and Traighe have figured out some new stuff and I've got some new material and some ideas for the old stuff. One of our biggest goals I think is gonna be to get 5-6 songs recorded so we can sell demos at our shows, and also it was recently announced that it will be possible to release your own music through XBox Live and PSN on Guitar Hero 4, which will be a great new way to market our music.
Anyways, that's all for now, gonna put in 30 minutes of practice on the guitar and rest up for work tomorrow.

New guitar, Mayday next week
So, I got my new guitar Wednesday morning. It's a Fernandes Ravelle Elite, and it sounds AMAZING! I chose this guitar because of the Fernandes Sustainer for a neck pickup, and the really unique shape and sound the guitar has. i may later change out the Seymour Duncan bridge pickup for an EMG but I'm still undecided on it. I plaed around with it on my Fuzz Factory and found some cool effects I want to try in a few songs.
Skating-wise, I'm going to put out my short program for the first time next week at May Day, a local competition near where I grew up. It's to the Sweeney Todd soundtrack and I'm really happy with it. I've also changed the layout and elements in my long program, but I won't be putting that out this year for another couple months.
Anyways, gonna go play some music before I go for my workout!
